New Women’s Boutique Brings Boho Chic to Downtown Arlington
Some people have a real gift for making life a little better, happier and easier for others. Anieca Frederick, Arlington resident and owner of Downtown’s new boutique Wildfire and Lace, is one of those people.
In her previous career, Anieca attended to all the big and little things by working for many years as a successful home healthcare provider. All the while, she expressed her creative side by cultivating a wide range of skills in interior décor, fashion and merchandising.
Then, about fifteen years ago, she recognized that she could combine her love of design with her compassion for people by creating a retail business built on the cornerstones of affordability, fun, style, and especially customer service.
“We will absolutely do whatever it takes to make our customers happy,” said Anieca.
That dedication helped her launch a successful retail pop-up business. For years, Anieca and her collections traveled from Canton to Georgetown on the Square to LD Bell and all sorts of festivals and venues in between. She always hoped that one day, she’d find the perfect permanent location for her business.
“I’ve known for awhile that Downtown Arlington is the next big place,” Anieca said, “so I’ve been looking and looking for the right spot. Then I spotted this location on Mesquite across from 101 Center. Look at these windows! It’s perfect.”
Wildfire and Lace Boutique has been open in Downtown since mid-August, providing customers with an eclectic selection of trendy and professional attire for women in a wide range of sizes, accessories, purses, shoes and gift items like Tyler Candles and Glamorous Wash, Amy’s Cakery cupcakes, and more.
Anieca promises to offer customers something new each time they shop through a constantly rotating selection, plus her never-varying commitment to sparkly service and customer care.
"We welcome all suggestions to help you have the best shopping experience possible," said Anieca, "We would also love to hear your ideas for new products you would like to see us carry. My journey is to discover what makes you feel pretty and help you create a personal style that stands out from the rest."
