Business Improvement District (BID)
In 2010, property owners began the petition process to establish the Downtown Arlington Business Improvement District (BID) then renewed funding in 2025. A BID is a legal funding mechanism providing for self-assessment on properties within the approved BID boundaries. The BID Management Plan sets out an annual scope of services that Downtown Arlington provides through a contract with the City of Arlington. This work includes marketing, economic development, security, and beautification services that benefit our downtown stakeholders.
