FIRST THURSDAYS ARE THE NIGHT TO BE IN DOWNTOWN ARLINGTON

A Night with Poe at Division Brewing ($): 

Step into the shadows this February First Thursday as Division Brewing and Growl Productions present a haunting journey into the mind of Edgar Allan Poe. Witness a descent into madness and despair through chilling interpretations of his most iconic works, including The Raven, Annabel Lee, and The Tell-Tale Heart.

What to Expect

  • Immersive Atmosphere: Victorian Gothic attire is highly encouraged!
  • Drinks & Perks: Each ticket includes a commemorative glass and two drink tickets for Division Brewing craft beer (to be collected at the Growl Records counter)
  • The Venue: Enter through the back door of Growl Records
  • Food: Enjoy thin-crust tavern pizza at Division before or after the show (no food in the event space, please).

Live Harp Date Night with Symphony Arlington ($): 

Get ready for the ultimate date night! Symphony Arlington invites you to a romantic and captivating evening at the historic Arlington Music Hall for a February First Thursdays concert.

Whether you are a lifelong classical music fan or looking for the perfect way to "feel the love" this February, this program is designed to sweep you off your feet. This performance features a rare opportunity to hear the ethereal beauty of a live harp center stage!

Arlington Amplified presents: Street Sounds 

Experience the vibrant sounds of Downtown Arlington this First Thursdays on February 5th from 5-8 PM! Our featured attraction, "Street Sounds," brings talented Arlington Amplified artists to various locations throughout Downtown. As part of Arlington's "Music Friendly Community" initiative, these local musicians will create a fun musical atmospheres for your evening stroll and shopping experience.

  • Create Wellspring: “The Dinosaur Exhibit Opening Reception” - Join Create Texas @ Wellspring on Main for the grand opening of their latest exhibition featuring artists Noin Rivera and Marilyn Lopez. This immersive showcase brings imagination and texture to life through playful storytelling and unique artistic vision. Spend your First Thursday evening meeting the artists and exploring the gallery while enjoying complimentary charcuterie, wine, and beverages. This event is free, open to the public, and a perfect stop for art lovers of all ages!

  • Mi Tesoro Thrift: “Date Night Styling” Experience - Join Mi Tesoro Thrift for their first First Thursday! Step into their Valentine’s themed “Date Night Styling” experience, where you can curate your perfect date night outfit from their unique collection. For their very first First Thursday, they are opening their doors to the community.   • Fool’s Kava: “The Art of Kava” - Come enjoy your first kava ceremony! A kava ceremony is a cultural experience that involves drinking kava, a euphoric tea made from the kava root, in a communal setting.   • Truth Serum: “Vinyl & Karaoke” - Enjoy exclusive drink specials available throughout the evening while you browse the stacks of curated vinyl.   • F6 Art Lounge: “Art & Music Showcase”- Join us for a vibrant evening of art and music at F6 for Downtown Arlington’s First Thursday. From 5-7pm, explore the art gallery and connect with local artists. At 7pm, check out the Open Jam Session. Show off your musical skills or simply enjoy the sounds of local musicians. Our open jam sessions are open to all levels, so come and join in the fun!
