Worthington Monuments Erects New Home in Downtown Arlington

Downtown Arlington welcomes a new neighbor on Abram St., Worthington Monuments. Owned by a husband and wife duo, Matt and Ryan, have recently opened up their second store in addition to their principle location in Burleson, TX. Worthington Monuments provides families with custom headstones, tombstones and grave markers in order to assist in memorializing a passed love one.

A Family Business

Matt was studying entrepreneurship at Texas Christian University when he and his father stumbled upon a monument store in Weatherford. This encounter sparked Matt’s creative juices, which ultimately inspired Worthington Monuments.

Roots in Arlington

Back in the day, Ryan and Matt attended the Oakridge School, a college prep school located off of W. Pioneer Parkway. Today, the Worthington’s children attend Oakridge and they co-chair the Golf Classic, providing funds for the athletic program. Fun Fact: Ryan’s Grandfather, Dr. R W Brentlinger, practiced family medicine and delivered many Arlington babies, maybe even you!

Honoring Your Loved One

The Worthington’s have a unique approach that sets their business apart from others. They are experts in laser engraving and can even recreate a photograph on various stones, like granite. Ryan and Matt also spend time face-to-face with their customers to make sure no details are overlooked during this difficult time. They are a headstone manufacturer and they work closely with funeral homes so you can focus on what’s important: remembering your loved one.
