Sculptor Art Fairchild Puts Big Dreams on Display in Arlington & North Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas (June 5, 2018) Arlington resident Art Fairchild continues to dream big as a unique sculptor utilizing wood, metal, stone and glass to create dynamic and visually captivating works of art across The American Dream City and the North Texas region.

“I’ve always been intrigued with having ideas that seem simple in form, but require quite a bit of thought to actually construct,” Fairchild said.

In 2017, Art Fairchild’s 1,800-pound steel Sator Cube was installed in front of the Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse on Abram Street in Downtown Arlington. It took about two months to construct the nearly 9-foot-tall Sator Cube, which features 35 six-sided boxes made from welded steel plates.

Fairchild has two other sculptures in Arlington, Trio and Whimsical Spherical, on display near AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park in the Entertainment District ...
