Relive the magic of Downtown Arlington’s March First Thursdays
First Thursdays is a celebration of Downtown Arlington art and community where businesses partner with artists to show their creative spirit. Over 20 businesses were a part of the March “First Thursdays,” which included installations ranging from live glass blowing to Shakespeare reenactments, with art, music and activities in between!

Brave Little Company hosted an interactive kid’s Shakespearean play called Wooden O, which brought imagination and theatrics to little ones in the City Center Plaza.

Visitors enjoyed Pop-Up Shakespeare with Shakespeare Live! throughout downtown for the evening with performances, trivia and opportunities to share their favorite lines.

The Cultures Commodities hosted a Tie Dye Takeover outside their store, which is stocked with vintage streetwear and collectible sneakers.

Grey Area Studio hosted the incredible and intense art of live glass blowing at Division Brewing.

Attendees could enjoy delicious burgers and brews at Grease Monkey as live music played.

GROWL Records hosted a music-filled night of performances, an open mic session and records for attendees to browse.

Stash VHS was a hub of gaming and thrifting as attendees grabbed a controller to battle friends or grabbed a staple cloth piece to add to their closet.

Arts & Acoustics filled Create Texas as musicians performed with a background of immersive visuals.

Kung Fu Tea customers could enjoy their regular beverages along with Berry Creative Coloring Time where pages where available for coloring.

Along with many other live art-creating experiences, attendees could watch as painters created a work of art outside Sugar Shack Salon and Spa.
If you missed this one, plan to join us on April 3 for the next First Thursdays, where the arts and community gather!
