"Once Upon a Maverick" Tells the Tale of the Best UTA Homecoming Ever!

How will you tell the tale of Homecoming 2022 at The University of Texas at Arlington? With this year's HOCO theme of "Once Upon a Maverick," UTA Homecoming promises to be full of unique events and diverse traditions that bring Maverick fans together.

From November 7-13, businesses and community members can participate in a number of spirit-filled activities, including the Homecoming Street Festival and Parade; annual Homecoming 5K and Golf Tournament; the Big Games; and Decorate Downtown hosted by the UTA Ambassadors and Downtown Arlington.

The complete schedule of all UTA Homecoming activities can be found here uta.edu/homecoming.

Homecoming Parade
Nov. 12 from 5:45-6:30pm

What do we love most about this unique Homecoming tradition? It began as a golf cart parade, and still embraces this tradition! Easy to decorate and a blast to watch, UTA invites your business to join in the celebration of Homecoming by participating in the parade.

The route takes floats and entries down Spaniolo Drive along the College Park District. All parade entries must be decorated accordance with this year's parade theme, which is Once Upon a Maverick, and pre-approved by the Parade Review Committee. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are welcome to enter the parade in one of several categories including Float, Golf Cart, walking entry, or Marching Band/Dignitary. Learn more at secure.touchnet.net/C21611_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=10&SINGLESTORE=true
