Get Revved Up Downtown: Touch-A-Truck fuels fun before INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington

Looking for the perfect way to kick off race weekend with the whole family? Downtown Arlington has you covered with our free Touch-A-Truck event, part of our Downtown Pit Stop campaign happening March 2–15.

Before engines roar and tires spin at the Java House INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington, Downtown Arlington invites families and fans of all ages to experience Touch-A-Truck during Spring Break. This hands-on, high-energy event is fun, educational and completely free.

Kids of all ages can get up close with massive construction gear, emergency vehicles and specialty trucks that keep our city moving. 

This is more than just a kids’ event. It is a community celebration designed to build excitement ahead of race weekend.

Creative Activities  

From free face painting and balloon twisting to chalk art stations and hands-on crafts, Touch-A-Truck is packed with activities that spark creativity and play.

We are racing to end hunger. Bring canned food donations to support Mission Arlington and help fuel families in our community. Every donation makes a meaningful local impact.

Touch-A-Truck is a featured event of the Downtown Pit Stop, our two-week celebration transforming Downtown Arlington into Grand Prix weekend headquarters. With March 13-15 marking the inaugural Java House INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington, our city is gearing up for one of the most exciting weekends of the year.
