Downtown Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market Featured in City's Small Business Initiative

The next Downtown Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market will take place from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.

There are so many reasons we love Downtown Arlington, including the entrepreneurial and creative spirit of our many small business owners. 

In celebration of that spirit, the City of Arlington offers a Small Business initiative entitled Customer Appreciation Week. Through on-site displays and online promotion, the initiative will help highlight local businesses and the goods and services they offer, right here in the heart of the American Dream City.

The Downtown Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market is the most recent Downtown business to be highlighted by the City's popular Customer Appreciation Week sponsorship program.

Downtown Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market

The Downtown Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market, which launched in January 2019, is monthly collaboration between Arlington Foodies, Downtown Arlington Management Corporation (DAMC), Legal Draft Beer Co., and a plethora of other enthusiastic partners and vendors.

Arlington Foodies, a non-profit that supports community-building through health and wellness initiatives, hosts the Farmers Market adjacent to Legal Draft, 500 E. Division Street, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month.

Customer Appreciation Week: How to Participate

The City’s Planning and Development Services Department is seeking to partner with 12 Downtown businesses in 2019 for their Customer Appreciation Week small business initiative. Sponsorship opportunities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The City will highlight the business sponsor in the following ways:

• Display company name, address, and a message from that business on the information screen at the One Start Development Center, located on the second floor of City Hall.
• A promotion table displaying brochures/menus/flyers.
• Acknowledgement on City’s Small Business Assistance webpage.
• DAMC will also boost the promotion through Downtown Arlington's website and social media channels.

To express interest, send an email to the City's Planning and Development Services team at planningdevelopment@arlingtontx.gov detailing the nature of your business, location, and any questions you may have. You'll receive a reply with sponsorship availability and details, including which month your business be featured.
