Back-In Angle Parking Guide: 1-2-3

Reverse or "back-in" angle parking is now available in Downtown Arlington on Center and Mesquite Streets around the 101 Center development.

Safety First

Back-in angle parking provides motorists with better vision of pedestrians, bicycles, cars and trucks as they exit a parking space and enter moving traffic.

Back-in angle parking also removes the difficulty that drivers have when backing into moving traffic. This can be particularly important during the evening rush hour and following major events, such as the annual Light Up Arlington celebration and the Arlington Holiday Lights Parade.
