Play Ball! Downtown Arlington Welcomes Rangers Fans
Meeting friends before or after the big game? Or prefer to watch from the comfort of a barstool? When you’re root-root-rooting for OUR Texas Rangers, Downtown Arlington is your perfect home base.
Downtown Outdoors. Maverick’s Sports Grill, The Tipsy Oak, Cartel Taco Bar, J. Gilligan's, J.R. Bentley's, Grease Monkey Burger Shop and Social Club, Mellow Mushroom, Cartel Taco Bar and many others have great indoor and outdoor seating options, full bar, and delicious pub-style dining without the “grub.” If you're heading to the ballpark, check in advance with Maverick’s, Grease Monkey, and J. Gilligan’s about their game-day shuttle service.
Right up your alley. One of our favorites patio is actually a revitalized alley that connects Namoo Korean Bowl, Twisted Root Burger Co. and Hooligan’s Pub. Outfitted with picnic tables and adorned with trees, a mural, and cozy lighting, this special space allows for a comingling of cuisines and drinks from three wildly diverse but equally delicious destinations. Click here for a complete list of Downtown patios.
Local brew. Looking for a little taste of Texas? We highly recommend going straight to the source at Division Brewing, or get to know all that's on tap at Kool Keg, On Tap, or Binions Ice House.
One giant picnic. Have you checked out the shared picnic area between Hurtado Barbecue and Hayters Bar & Lounge? What are you waiting for?
Hawaiian Shirt Day every day. The vibe inside 4 Kahunas Tiki Bar is as mellow as a summer’s day. Their tropically tantalizing drink selection is equally transformative.
Caffeine, everyone. Coffee shops? You bet, and each one has its own unique flavors and personality, just like you. Downtown Arlington is home to a Starbucks, White Rhino, Salter Bros. Coffee Roasters, and Inclusion Coffee.
The 411 on 101: Speaking of Inclusion Coffee. This popular coffee shop is located in 101 Center, a mixed-use anchor along Abram Street that's packed with delicious and interesting new options to try. Check out Kintaro Ramen, Kung Fu Tea, Rita’s Italian Ice, and Amore Mio. Need snacks to go? Ann's Market just opened and offers a wide variety of healthy fresh and packaged foods.
Fido-Friendly. All of the restaurant patios in Downtown Arlington are dog friendly, as long as your four-legged friend is well-behaved and keeps you safely on your leash.
