Arlington Museum of Art announces an exclusive exhibition of 12-time Grammy award-winner Taylor Swift

The Arlington Museum of Art has announced its brand-new exhibition this summer, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection, that serves as an exploration of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking career. The news comes on the heels of her upcoming sold-out concerts at AT&T Stadium this weekend.

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection, presented by the HELP Center for LGBT Health, will open June 3 and run through Sept. 24, 2023 at the Arlington Museum of Art. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on April 17, and AMA members will be gain early access tickets starting at 10:00 am on April 13 as part of their membership benefits. Tickets will be available exclusively at arlingtonmuseum.org.

Curated by the AMA from Swift’s own private collection, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection will feature original costumes, audio, photographs, and concert videos drawn from her creative eras. The exhibition will feature eight costumes worn by Swift from her record-breaking albums Midnights, Folklore, Red, and Fearless.

Altogether, the exhibition commemorates Swift’s evolution as an artist as she elegantly weaves through a multitude of genres, styles, and phases.

“As an artist, Swift's career is rich in depth and detail, and we believe the exhibition will appeal not only to her fans, music lovers, and art lovers, but to the next generation of emerging museum-goers,” Chris Hightower, president and CEO of the Arlington Museum of Art, said.

Arlington Mayor Jim Ross said the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection exhibition reflects several the city’s strengths, including a reputation for world-class entertainment, the city’s Music-Friendly Community designation by the State of Texas, and an on-going commitment to supporting arts and cultural programming.

“In Arlington, we love collaboration, a can-do spirit, and out-of-the-box thinking,” said Mayor Ross, “and the team at the Arlington Museum of Art continues to surprise and thrill us by really putting all that into practice. It has been so exciting to see the Arlington Museum of Art find its voice in the last few years, and there is no doubt that even bigger things are on the horizon.”

In the past, Downtown Arlington has expanded on the museum’s exhibit to craft a unique overarching experience that gets everyone involved. Businesses across the district join together for cross-promotional activities and special menu items in order to build off the momentum of their neighbor’s success.

“The Arlington Museum of Art has been an anchor in the community for years and provides ample opportunities for our district to come together as a neighborhood and create a unified vision for Downtown,” said Maggie Campbell, President and CEO of Downtown Arlington Management Corporation.

Previous downtown-wide exhibits include “Magic of Downtown” and “A Knight’s Tale.” Many restaurants and entertainment venues hosted themed events and drinks to help create synergy within the Downtown family. This exhibit will be no different with Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery already getting a head start with their Taylor-themed drinks and baked goods.
