Country superstar Lee Greenwood headlines 9/11 Memorial concert this weekend at the Levitt
Community events are planned all across Arlington -- including a "Stars, Stripes, & Remembrance" concert at the Levitt to two benefit runs -- to remember the victims and recognize the heroic first responders who answered the call for help during the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on America.
Stars, Stripes & Remembrance Concert and Program
"Stars, Stripes, & Remembrance," a 9/11 memorial concert, will be held Saturday, Sept. 11 at Levitt Pavilion Arlington. Country/retro rocker Deana Carter will open for country superstar Lee Greenwood, following a patriotic program paying tribute to Arlington fire responders. The evening will feature remarks from Mayor Jim Ross, a bagpipe performance, and a special presentation from the National Medal of Honor Museum, which is anticipated to open in Arlington in 2024. Gates open at 5 p.m., the program begins at 6 p.m., Deana Carter opens the show at 7 p.m. and Lee Greenwood performs at 8:30 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets for the event.
