What’s better than free music? How about free music under the stars, happening this weekend at the Levitt Pavilion!
Round up your lawn chair, pack your cooler and head to downtown Arlington

FRIDAY 9/3: Brave Combo (with Meach Pango) **Presented by Downtown Arlington**
Headliner: Dust off your dancing shoes—Grammy-winning Texas live music legends Brave Combo returns to the Levitt for Labor Day weekend! This highly anticipated show will no doubt serve up the best of the “nuclear polka” band’s “revved-up Russian dirge to tripped-out Latin cha-cha,” blended with a dash of “rockified old-school lounge and lowdown Tex-Mex hippie shake.” In Brave Combo’s world, “up is down, down is up, uncool is cooler than cool, and everyone likes it that way.” Yes, we do! By the way, make sure you stretch before the show—you’ll want to be ready for Brave Combo’s world-famous “demonic” hokey-pokey. Early arrival for this concert is highly recommended.
Opening Act: Described as “fresh, new, and juicy,” Meach Pango is a New Wave-inspired alt-rock band noted for a killer bass, memorable lyrics, and plenty of spectacle—the perfect appetizer, in other words, for a Brave Combo evening.
SATURDAY 9/4: The Texas Gentlemen (with Josh Fleming) **Presented by Frost Bank**
Headliner: Buckle up for a night of “chicken-scratch country funk” mixed with “woozy, brass-fueled, New Orleans-style jazz, lushly orchestrated pop-soul balladry, and elements of funk, soul, country, R&B, Southern rock, and gospel.” In short, get ready for The Texas Gentleman experience, coming your way this Labor Day weekend.
Opening Act: The Levitt is pleased to welcome Josh Fleming, lead singer and guitarist for the Vandoliers, a six-piece musical group whose sound “channels all that makes this vast state unique: tradition, modernity, audacity, grit, and size.”

SUNDAY 9/5: Gina Chavez (with Almost Jaded) **Presented by Downtown Arlington**
Headliner: The music of Gina Chavez eludes precise classification, so we’ll describe her as a genre-bending artist who’s noted for a distinct, pop-rock-influenced sound and original songs performed in English and Spanish. In addition to earning a Latin Grammy nomination, the Texas-born singer-songwriter has been featured on NPR and “The Late Show,” and she’s also one of the faces of the LIFEWTR (bottled water) #LifeUnseen campaign, with her own bottle and commercial airing nationwide. **Presented by Downtown Arlington**
Opening Act: A young musical trio born from an Open Mic Night encounter at an Arlington record store, Almost Jaded delivers an intriguing alt rock/pop show featuring a “groovy, emotive” sound accessible to audiences of all tastes.
