UTA Maverick Homecoming is Back and You're Invited!

Welcome (back) home, Mavericks! After the cancelation of homecoming activities in 2020 due to COVID-19 precautions, the University of Texas at Arlington is ready to once again paint the town blue, white and orange in celebration of all things Maverick and so is Downtown Arlington!

UTA Homecoming 2021 takes place from November 8-14, 2021 and includes a week packed with spirited traditions, including Decorate Downtown. In early November, UTA student organizations team up with Downtown Arlington and our local businesses to decorate storefronts with Maverick pride so that everyone knows it’s Homecoming Week! Then from Nov. 8-12, you can cast your vote for the most spirited People’s Choice award winner.

Decorate Downtown is just the beginning of a fun-filled UTA Homecoming Week! The general public is welcome to join in on the fun, including the UTA Homecoming 5K Walk/Run/Roll, Homecoming Street Festival and Parade, the big games, and more.
