Tai Chi at the Levitt

Saturday mornings are perfect for a slightly later-than-usual breakfast and Tai Chi in Downtown Arlington.

After enjoying breakfast at your choice of several Downtown restaurants serving breakfast, join instructor Gregory Ellis for an invigorating hour of Tai Chi at the Levitt Pavilion on Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. Sponsored by DAMC, this session is free and all are welcome. Based on the response to and participation in this class, DAMC hopes to launch a regular program of Tai Chi at the Levitt.

Regular practice of Tai Chi and Qigong can help to:

  • Energize mind and body
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Increase flexibility, strength and balance
  • Reduce or eliminate chronic pain

We recommend that participants wear comfortable shoes and something loose and stretchy -- like a t-shirt and sweat pants -- and to leave jewelry at home. Spandex or body suits, although not prohibited, are not typically worn in Tai Chi. Be sure to bring a bottle of water. Visit the Downtown Arlington events calendar for more information.
