Shop Small All Season Long!

Small Business Saturday is right around the corner on November 25th, kickstarting the holiday season of giving. Small Business Saturday was founded in 2010 by American Express as a day to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of small business owners and acknowledge the impact of small businesses in communities all across the nation.

According to U.S. Consumer Report, Small Business Saturday drove an estimated $17.9 billion in spending at small, independently owned restaurants, bars, and businesses nationwide last year with 72% of consumers stating they will continue to shop small during the holiday season because of the positive impact on their community. With over 32 million independent businesses in the United States, small businesses are not only the backbone of our economy, but are also the defining institutions of millions of communities.

Small Business Saturday is not only a great time to give back to your community, but it’s also a great time for your community to give back to you as well! It’s the season of giving after all! Several downtown bars, breweries, restaurants, and retail businesses are offering special discounts and specials just for you on November 25th. Check out our list below to skip the Black Friday madness and plan to spend Thanksgiving weekend right here in Downtown.
