Scavenger Hunt: Your Downtown Arlington adventure begins here
Adventure awaits! The Downtown Arlington Scavenger Hunt begins now! With 15 businesses to visit, bonus points to earn and over $600 worth of prizes to win, you should get started.
Whether you’re looking for a fun, final summer activity with the kids, a date night idea or something to cure your end-of-summer boredom, pick up a map today!
How to play:
1. Pick up a map from any location listed on the map or download, print, or view the PDF version here.
2. Grab a friend and check off every square by visiting each location!
3. Scan the QR code at the register/front desk of every location on the map and fill out the form that pops up to mark off that square.
4. Be one of the 20 winners by completing the map and getting bonus points!
Things to know:
- A map is not required to finish or win but must be used to identify which businesses to visit.
- The order in which you complete the squares on the map does not matter!
- You must have visited all 15 locations, scanned each individual QR code and completed all 15 forms to win.
- Provide accurate contact information on each form so we can let you know when you win.
- All photos submitted in the QR codes' forms may be used on any Downtown Arlington social media accounts or other marketing materials.
How to win:
Complete all 15 squares on the map by visiting each location, scanning that location's QR code and completing the form. Each square completed is worth one point. Bonus points can be earned by submitting photo(s) inside each location on the corresponding form or by taking a photo with an Arlington Ambassador!
+1 point: Attach photo(s) from in the business
+1 point: Attach a photo with an Arlington Ambassador keeping our streets clean! (this can be submitted on any business' form, but only a maximum of one point can be earned per participant)
The maximum number of points a participant can earn is 31. The top 20 winners will be determined by number of points and fastest map completion. Finish the map before 11:59 p.m. September 3rd when the competition ends.

Prizes may be bundled to increase value, especially for first through third place winners!

The Downtown Arlington Scavenger Hunt aims to enhance your summer downtown, bring together family and friends with friendly competition, and increase support of local businesses. Grab a friend and check off one square at a time as you do a new activity each day or bring out the whole family and knock out the map in a day for a fun activity before school starts.
