We especially love their Harry Potter Day, Cricut class in making summer t-shirts, Dino Bo, a series for Exploring Famous Artists through History, Make your Own Mermaid (what?), and so much more.

FAMILY TIME IN DOWNTOWN ARLINGTON
various locations
Even when the sun goes down, we’ve got a great reason to keep your beach blankets and folding chairs handy: Summer nights with the family at the Levitt Pavilion!
While you should never run with scissors, the folks at Lone Star Axe Throwing will teach you and your kids how to safely experience – and get hooked on – the sport of axe-throwing.
Show your kids how to kick it old school at Free Play Arlington. For one low admission price, you can play over and over on more than 100 retro arcade games and pinball. No quarters necessary! Pro tip: Couple this with a trip to Wild West Comics.
The Planetarium at the University of Texas at Arlington is always the coolest place in town to gaze up at the stars.
Busy hands are happy hands whether you’re a kid or an adult. Check out the family-friendly creative classes offered throughout the summer in Downtown at venues including Upstairs Gallery, Sparks Studio, Arlington Museum of Art, Downtown Library Maker Space, and Board & Brush Creative Studio.
