Downtown Arlington is now accepting Board and Advisory Council nominations

Do you know someone passionate about Downtown Arlington's growth and vibrancy? Now's the time to nominate them for the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation’s Board of Directors or Advisory Council for the 2025–2026 terms!

We’re looking for dedicated individuals who want to help guide the future of Downtown Arlington through leadership, collaboration and community impact. Nominations are open for the two main groups that guide the work of the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation: the Board of Directors and the Advisory Council.

Board of Directors

The term for members of DAMC's Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 fiscal year begins in October. As stewards of Downtown’s growth, vibrancy and vision, our board plays a vital role in guiding strategic initiatives that shape the cultural, economic and vitality of our district. Board Members serve a hands-on role in guiding the organization's day-to-day work, including financial review, program assistance, and more.

This group of directors represents a cross section of Downtown stakeholders. It is composed of a diverse mix of community leaders, including small business owners, arts advocates, university partners and property owners. Each member is passionate about downtown’s future and eager to turn their expertise into action. Find the current members here.

Founded in 2006, members include leaders from the University of Texas at Arlington, successful entrepreneurs, and leaders in the community. The board must be made up of a majority of property owners.
