Downtown Arlington is now accepting Board and Advisory Council nominations
Do you know someone passionate about Downtown Arlington's growth and vibrancy? Now's the time to nominate them for the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation’s Board of Directors or Advisory Council for the 2025–2026 terms!
We’re looking for dedicated individuals who want to help guide the future of Downtown Arlington through leadership, collaboration and community impact. Nominations are open for the two main groups that guide the work of the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation: the Board of Directors and the Advisory Council.
Board of Directors
The DAMC's Board of Directors members for the 2025-2026 fiscal term begin in October. As stewards of Downtown’s growth, vibrancy and vision, our board plays a vital role in guiding strategic initiatives that shape the cultural, economic and vitality of our district.
This group of advisors represents a cross section of downtown stakeholders, businesses, and organizations. It is composed of a diverse mix of community leaders, including City of Arlington staff, small business owners, arts advocates, university partners and property owners. However, they are all passionate about downtown’s future and eager to turn their expertise into action. Find the current members here.

Founded in 2006, members include leaders from the University of Texas at Arlington, successful entrepreneurs, and leaders in the community. The board must be made up of a majority of property owners.

Advisory Council
The Advisory Council provides guidance, expertise, and advice to the Board of Directors for the strategic direction and priorities of the Downtown Arlington Management Corp. Current and past members represent institutions such as Theatre Arlington, Levitt Pavilion and the City of Arlington, including Mayor Jim Ross and other civic leaders. Find the current advisors here.
