Back by Popular Demand, It’s the Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Halloween is one of the craziest and most fun times of the year. People scramble to find the perfect costume for Trick or Treating and house parties. Horror movies are released almost every single week. And the lines at the grocery store are backed up to oblivion as everybody rushes to stock up on all their favorite candy. It’s a very chaotic time, but nothing is more than one of our favorite traditions of the season: The Rocky Horror Picture Show!
After tickets to the first screening on October 29th sold out immediately, Downtown Arlington is bringing back this timeless favorite for a second night on Halloween! Although tickets are completely free, registration is still required. Click here to reserve your seats today for you and your friends. Join us October 31st at the Arlington Music Hall at 9:30 p.m. for a special 21 and over screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, hosted by DJ Gurrl.
For one night only, before the movie begins, arrive early for a special cocktail party hosted by our presenting sponsor, the eclectic and crowd-moving DJ Gurrl! Come enjoy the beats, grooves, and remixes of the amazing DJ Gurrl while sipping on drinks from the music hall's bar. DJ Gurrl is a local Arlington DJ, specializing in music of all genres and decades.
From spinning records all around town to entertaining the crowd at our 2023 Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show earlier this year, Gigi “DJ Gurrl” Irwin has been an active member in the Arlington community for years, spreading positivity and joy everywhere she goes. Lucky for you, as part of this exclusive Halloween night extravaganza, you can experience the thrill of listening to her unique setlist that promises to get you in the perfect mood for the movie.
If this is your first time seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show, you’re in for quite a treat – and a newspaper-filled awakening! Rocky Horror is about two lovebirds, Brad and Janet, who find themselves on the doorsteps of the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. From there ensues an unforgettable, campy adventure filled with rock music, dancing, and over-the-top comedy.
Sounds simple, but there’s so much more to it that you must see to believe. Audience participation is not only allowed but strongly encouraged as part of the longstanding Rocky Horror tradition. Props, callouts, sing-alongs, and more are all fair game during the screening. Please review the following dos and don’ts before attending the show.

Feel free to stick around after the show to help our music hall staff pick up any leftover props and trash. It's a Halloween Night party and everybody's invited! Whether it’s your first time watching or your 48th time, you’re bound to have a great time. Good luck trying to get the song “Time Warp” out of your head, for it will be engrained in your mind for days to come.
