Summer continues to sizzle with free concerts at the Levitt Pavilion Arlington! Coming your way this weekend:
FRIDAY 7/16: SuenaTron (with Conjunto Prestigio)
Headliner: Over the last 10 years, Suenatron has carved out a solid niche for themselves on the pop/ Norteño scene. Their first single, “Sencillamente,” reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart; their second single, “Caramelo,” dominated radio stations across in the country with heavy airplay. They’ve also toured the U.S. and Mexico extensively, frequently sharing a stage with top-tier artists in a range of genres.
Opening Act: Founded by brothers Joaquin and Ricardo Rivera, Conjunto Prestigio is noted for delivering “hard-hitting and upbeat” Conjunto music at shows in and around the Lone Star State.
SATURDAY 7/17: Dale Watson (with Summer Dean)
Headliner: Dubbed “the silver pompadoured, baritone beltin’, Lone Star beer drinkin’, honky-tonk hellraiser” by The Austin Chronicle, Dale Watson is a “country music maverick and a true outlaw who stands alongside Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and George Strait as one of the finest country singers and songwriters from the Lone Star State.”
Opening Act: Soulful Summer Dean has shared a stage with many of country music’s brightest stars, including legends like Marty Stuart and Asleep at the Wheel, as well as like-minded young guns like Colter Wall and Mike and the Moonpies. She’s currently on the road in support of her new album, “Bad Romantic.”
SUNDAY 7/18: Carson Jeffrey (with Jason Herrin)
Headliner: Carson Jeffrey connects to the world with raw emotion and a true-to-roots style of classic Texas country music. His 2019 single, “Ranch Girl Dream,” quickly earned over 2.5 million streams; a follow-up album, “Heart of This Man,” premiered a year later to display hard-hitting lyrics and rapid musical growth.
Opening Act: Previous projects have earned Waxahachie-based Jason Herrin a Top 40 spot on the Texas music charts as well a nomination for Songwriter of the Year. His band offers a blend of southern rock, country, and folk that’s perfect for just about any live venue.
All shows begin with an opening act at 7:30 pm (unless otherwise noted); headliners go on at 8:30 pm. Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome, but please consider concert volume with respect to your pet’s sensitive ears.
