We are excited to announce the opening reception for Create Arlington Resident Artist Dawn Siler Solo Exhibit “Soulful Wanderlust” Mark your calendar for March 25, 6pm-8pm. Dawn’s multi-media works will also be for sale. 304 W. Main St. 76010. The Exhibit runs from March 17 - April 7, 2023
Dawn is a mixed media artist, originally from Philadelphia. Having practiced meditation for 30 years, her colorful paintings are mindful movements of spirit which align with her deep love of music and travel.
Having studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she concentrated on video and music production, her sense of space and visual awareness broadened. A diverse career followed, but painting—a love that was largely self-taught— became Siler’s outlet for intellectual and creative self-expression.
Intensity, rhythm, and improvisation abound; her work possesses a raw unfiltered sensibility that speaks loudly, clearly and expressively. Ever evolving, her bold and colorful compositions are visual poetry, weaving tales of universal and spiritual truths and constructs of her life’s journey.
