West Main Arts Festival Returns to Downtown Arlington for Its 10th Anniversary
Downtown Arlington is about to get even more colorful, musical and creative.
On Saturday, Sept. 19, the West Main Arts Festival returns to Downtown Arlington for its
10th annual celebration of art, music and community. From noon to 6 p.m., West Main Street will transform into a lively, walkable arts district filled with local artists, live performances, interactive experiences, food and plenty of opportunities to discover something new.
And the best part? It’s free.
A Decade of Creativity in Downtown

What began in 2016 as a grassroots celebration of Arlington’s creative community has grown into one of the city’s most anticipated arts events.
Over the past decade, the West Main Arts Festival has welcomed more than 50,000 attendees and generated more than $500,000 in local economic impact, helping connect artists, makers, musicians and creative entrepreneurs with the broader Arlington community.
That community spirit is still at the heart of the festival.
Produced by Create Texas, West Main Arts Fest brings the creative energy of Arlington right into the streets of Downtown — creating a space where you can browse artwork, hear a new favorite band, grab a bite and spend the afternoon simply enjoying the atmosphere.
Something for Everyone

Whether you're an art collector, a music lover, a parent looking for a family-friendly afternoon or someone who just wants to experience something different downtown, West Main has plenty to explore.
This year's festival will feature:
70+ artist booths showcasing paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry and more
- Three live music stages featuring jazz, rock, indie, acoustic and youth performances
- A new Hispanic Heritage stage, featuring performers including Sam Houston High School Mariachi
- Interactive art experiences for kids and the young at heart
- Live art in action, including murals, painting demonstrations and workshops
Food trucks and craft vendors serving up local favorites and festival treats
Families, kids and even pets are welcome, so bring your lawn chairs, your crew and your appetite for a day of creativity in the heart of Downtown Arlington.
Experience the Creative Side of Downtown

The West Main Arts Festival is a natural fit for Downtown Arlington, where arts and culture are already woven into the fabric of the district.
From Theatre Arlington and Arlington Music Hall to the Levitt Pavilion and local galleries, studios and creative businesses, Downtown is home to a growing arts community. In fact, Arlington's downtown was designated a Cultural District by the State of Texas in 2016 — the same year the West Main Arts Festival launched.
For one Saturday each year, West Main brings that creative spirit together in one place.
So come stroll the booths, listen to live music, meet local artists, grab something delicious and see what makes Downtown Arlington such a vibrant place to live and create.
