Mesquite Street
Mesquite Street, from Border Street to Front Street, will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 20. This affected section, which runs northbound past the 101 Center project and the Municipal Court building, starts just south of Abram Street and continues north of the train tracks.
Alternate Routes:Drivers can take West Street, Cooper Street or Collins Street as alternative routes through downtown.
Abram Street
All lanes of Abram Street between Center and Mesquite streets will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 20.
Drivers should also be aware of these Downtown street closures, expected to last from Monday, April 24 through Monday, May 22:
- Abram Street from Oak Street to Elm Street will be completely closed.
- Center Street from Front Street to South Street will be completely closed.
- Mesquite Street from UTA Boulevard/Border Street to Front Street will be completely closed.
Alternate Routes:
Drivers can take Division Street to the north or UTA Boulevard/East Border Street to the south to get around the Abram Street area construction.Click here to see a map of alternative routes.
Municipal Court
Drivers should plan ahead when traveling to the Arlington Municipal Court or other offices within the Municipal Office Tower.
