Shop with Certainty: Small Business Saturday in Downtown Arlington

November 27, 2021 is Small Business Saturday, an opportunity to shine a bright spotlight on all of the Downtown Arlington businesses we love 24/7/365. From restaurants and pubs to specialty services and shops, we let’s tell them how much we appreciate them by thinking big and shopping small! It’s also a terrific way to share our hometown pride by helping others discover the delicious food and fare, talent, and curated offerings that are so uniquely Arlington.

We also think shopping local on Small Business Saturday is a great way to avoid the uncertainty of shopping online, particularly this year. We’re not just talking about all the online backorders, out of stock issues, and shipping delays that are making the headlines. We’re also talking about moving from a virtual to a tangible world. 

When you shop local, you know exactly what you’re buying because it’s right there in your hands. You also know exactly who you’re buying from because, chances are, the entrepreneur or employee who’s waiting on you goes to your church or is a member of your Rotary Club or lives just up the street. 

As you’re out and about between now and Thanksgiving, you’ll see Small Business Saturday signs, streamers and other #ShopSmall promotions throughout our district. Let those signs be a reminder of the friends and neighbors who proudly make up the community of businesses in Downtown Arlington.
