Share Your Maverick Pride at UTA Homecoming Nov. 4-11

A week packed with activities, UT Arlington Homecoming takes place from November 4-11 and everyone’s invited! Events include Distinguished Alumni Awards and other alumni events, the Homecoming 5K Walk/Run/Roll, Homecoming Street Festival, Parades, the big games, and more. Many events are open to the public, and the Parade and Pep Rally are free to all to attend.

Decorate Downtown

All week

UTA student organizations are teaming up with businesses in Downtown Arlington to decorate their storefronts to let everyone know it is Homecoming Week! Cast your vote for the most spirited business on the Homecoming Facebook page for the People’s Choice award. A Judges’ Choice award will also be announced at the Homecoming basketball game.

Distinguished Alumni Awards

Join UTA for an evening of delicious food and entertainment as they recognize this year’s recipients of the distinguished alumni awards.

Homecoming weekend is packed full of events for UTA alumni. Celebrations, reunions, golf, and so much more offer returning Mavericks many chances to reconnect with their alma mater.

Run/Walk/Roll

Saturday, Nov. 10, 10 A.M.

Join the fun at the annual Homecoming 5K Run/Walk/Roll!

Street Festival, Parade and Pep Rally

Saturday, Nov. 10, 3 P.M.

Interactive fun and Mav Mania lead up to a high-energy celebration of school spirit before the big game.

The Big Games

Saturday, Nov. 10, 2:30 and 7 P.M.

It all leads up to this: the Maverick women’s basketball team battle Jackson State at 2:30 p.m. and the Maverick Men take on Northern Iowa at 7:00 p.m. But the entire week is a sports lover’s dream. Don’t miss the volleyball games and wheelchair basketball tournament also taking place during Homecoming week.
