Parking in Downtown Arlington
Have you noticed the new parking signs popping up around Downtown Arlington? We have over 3,200 spots just between Cooper and Collins Street. When it comes to parking, Downtown Arlington has got you covered (or uncovered).
There are also parallel spots along South Street
DID YOU KNOW THAT...
- You can park at the City Hall lot after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends? That's over 250 spaces conveniently located across the street from the Levitt Pavilion.
- An additional lot on Front Street, next to Babe's Chicken Dinner House and Mellow Mushroom, is expected in 2015.
- When the words "parking" and "college campus" are mentioned together, people tend to get a look on their face. Our friend at The University of Texas at Arlington let the community park at the College Park District North & South garages for FREE! There's even surface lot parking on Spaniolo Dr. and near neighboring restaurants.
Please remember to park in public lots ONLY. Many are clearly marked but the city is working on distributing signs throughout downtown.
