MyArlingtonTV Spotlights Downtown Arlington

Ask Arlington is a show produced by the City of Arlington that answers questions from residents about what’s happening around the city.

This week’s show features Downtown Arlington Management Corporation (DAMC) President and CEO Aldo Fritz along with Lyndsay Mitchell, Planning Manager for the City of Arlington, discussing all aspects of Downtown Arlington development including Downtown Master Plan, which is currently being reviewed and updated.

Downtown Master Plan

In January 2018, the City of Arlington in partnership with DAMC began work on a comprehensive update designed to guide development in the Downtown and surrounding areas of the city. The new Downtown Master Plan, slated for completion this fall, will unify current projects and stakeholder visions to define a strong sense of place, while remaining responsive to the history and current needs of the area.
