Missed the last Yappy Hour? Don’t miss this one!

We are gearing up for our second Yappy Hour fundraiser! Join us for this paw-some public social event from 3 to 10 p.m. Thursday, August 1, at J. Gilligan’s Bar & Grill to raise funds for The Doggie Depot, Downtown's newest off-leash dog park. 

Grab a bite to eat from J. Gilligan's, participate in the pup-themed raffle and enjoy live music while supporting this great cause. Leashed dogs will be welcome on the patio, but all the festivities will take place inside.  

Instead of bringing your pups to this event, bring a photo of them to paint your pup! An artist will be present to help attendees paint their furry friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Slots for painting will be 30 minutes long, cost $5 per person and are filling up fast so reserve your painting slot today! 

All proceeds from this event, including the raffle, last chance brick sales and painting slot sales, will further go toward the dog park. A big thank you to J. Gilligan's for generously donating 10% of their sales during the event to help fund the dog park.

Downtown Arlington’s Doggie Depot will include ADA access, running water, lighting, dog waste stations, play areas for both small and large dogs, and eco-friendly fencing with mesh openings and an anti-climb design. Learn more about The Doggie Depot here! 

Our last Yappy Hour was a success! 

Our first Yappy Hour, in tandem with The Doggie Depot Groundbreaking Ceremony, was such a success in raising awareness and funds, we wanted to host another.

After ground was broken on The Doggie Depot, attendees and furry friends walked over to Grease Monkey Burger Shop for the first Yappy Hour social and fundraiser on May 15th.  

Fellow dog lovers mingled, enjoyed live music, and quenched their thirst with pup-themed drink specials. They also helped us raise the woof with a raffle where every penny went toward making The Doggie Depot the best dog park ever!

Grease Monkey Burger Shop matched a portion of their sales during their event to The Doggie Depot cause, just like J. Gilligan’s will do for their upcoming Yappy Hour. So come hungry, have a blast, and help build a fur-tastic future for our four-legged friends downtown.
