Levitt Pavilion wraps up free concert series with month of showstopping performances

Levitt Pavilion in Downtown Arlington kicked off their free summer concert series on May 10 and has held free concerts every weekend since!

From the “Sad Yeehaw Vibes” of Kaitlin Butts to the New Orleans brass sounds of the Stooges Brass Band, the Levitt has offered music for everyone and all ages. And the concerts are continuing!

The third annual Juneteenth Celebration is coming to the Levitt this weekend! The event will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 with a vendor market and national anthems. Celestial Clockwork will take the stage at 5:30 p.m., followed by Reggie T. & The BoneHeadz at 7 p.m. The headlining act, The Sensational Barnes Brothers, will hit the stage at 8:30 p.m.

Coming up on June 21, The War and Treaty will headline the 2024 Levitt National Tour, and their first stop is Levitt Pavilion Arlington! Wife and husband Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter Jr., a critically acclaimed duo, has emerged as one of the most electrifying new acts in American music. Their signature sound combines blues, gospel, soul, bluegrass, and country.

Since 2014, the pair has captivated audiences around the world on stages in the U.S., Europe and Australia, earning recognition by the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry, and Folk Alliance International, along with two recent GRAMMY nominations for Best New Artist and Best American Roots song (for their 2023 song “Blank Page”).

The Levitt Pavilion’s free summer concert series runs through the end of June to beat the July heat. The last free concert of the summer will feature crowd favorite Gary P. Nunn, an icon of Lone Star music and a founding father of Austin’s progressive country movement in the 1970s that changed the face of popular music.

Make your way to the lawn for a summer night to remember. Levitt Pavilion has events and music for everyone in the heart of Downtown Arlington!
