Levitt Pavilion Welcomes New Executive Director

Arlington native Letatia Teykl has been named executive director of Levitt Pavilion Arlington by the organization's board of directors. She began her new position with the concert pavilion on Nov. 18, replacing Patti Diou, who announced her retirement during the 2019 concert season.

Letatia is a Sam Houston High School graduate and a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. She has more than 25 years of experience in community engagement, marketing and leadership. Prior to joining the Levitt, Letatia served as director of community affairs with inspirED, the Outreach Division of Higher Education Servicing Corp. in Arlington. In her position, she served as the principal ambassador in the community, where she collaborated with five neighboring school districts for the purpose of expanding and enhancing college access and success programs.

Previous experience includes business development for Southwest Bank, sales and marketing for BBVA Compass Wealth Management Group, marketing for Citizens National Bank, and client manager for Texas Bank. Teykl also served as president of the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce and marketing manager for The Parks at Arlington.

"We are experiencing exciting times at the Levitt with all the new development around us, including our hospitality suite and permanent restrooms. Once construction is complete, the Levitt experience will provide so much more to our community," said Belinda Caylor, chair of Levitt Pavilion Arlington's Board of Directors. "Letatia will be a wonderful fit because of her ability to cultivate new relationships and strengthen ties with our community and corporate partners. Our board is confident that Letatia will lead our strategic commitment and elevate the next era of our beloved Levitt."

Before joining the Levitt in an official capacity, Letatia has been a regular on the Levitt lawn.

"I love that the Levitt recognizes the importance of bringing a variety of musical artists for all to enjoy," Letatia said. "There is so much value in a community that emphasizes the importance of music in all our lives. Music can truly feed the soul!"
