Let Downtown Arlington’s newest publication be your guide

In addition to its revamped website, Downtown Arlington Management Corporation has made it even easier to discover all that the flourishing district has to offer: a good old-fashioned, new-fangled destinations guide.

“While our website is very interactive and mobile, sometimes visitors prefer to reference a printable brochure,” said Tony Rutigliano, president and CEO of DAMC. “The Downtown Arlington Destinations Guide is that kind of publication. It organizes everything into one convenient place.”

We’re so meta

The 15-page guide sorts Downtown destinations into categories such as music, art, bars and restaurants, patio dining, fitness/recreation facilities, shopping, dance, theatre, event venues and salons/spas. Special features like dog-friendly venues, Wi-Fi, landmarks, shuttle services and green spaces are also highlighted.

Each destination listing includes an overview, location, hours of operation, photo and contact information. Overviews about recent public art installations and projects currently under development are also included in the guide. An easy-to-reference map ties it all together.

“When people see the Downtown Arlington Destinations Guide, they’re blown away,” said Rutigliano. “So much has changed – and is changing – in the last few years. By using the Guide, people can see it all in one place, and then really take advantage of all that Downtown has to offer them, their families and friends.”
