July First Thursdays brings foam, art and summer fun to Downtown Arlington

From 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, Downtown Arlington will once again transform into a vibrant hub of music, family fun and walkable discovery as First Thursdays returns for another evening of community celebration.

As the holiday weekend approaches, this month's event offers the perfect excuse to get outside, gather with friends and family, and experience everything downtown has to offer.

Cool Off at the Foam Bus

July in Texas can be hot, but First Thursdays has a solution.

The iconic Foam Bus will roll into City Center Plaza, turning the heart of downtown into a

bubbly playground where kids can play, dance and cool off. It's the kind of attraction that quickly becomes the center of attention, drawing families together for an evening of carefree fun.

Expect plenty of laughter, plenty of photos and plenty of foam.

Important Parent Tip: It is highly suggested that parents bring a beach towel and an extra pair of dry clothes for each child to change into after the foam party.

Learn New Moves at Miss Persis Dance Studio

Miss Persis Dance Studio will host a free open house dance party throughout the evening, welcoming participants of all ages and experience levels.
