Leave your leftovers and brown bag lunches at home. The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department’s fantastic Food Truck Fridays lunch series in Downtown Arlington returns on Friday, April 27.
This event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday until May 18 at Founders Plaza, 100 W. Abram St. The park is located next to the Levitt Pavilion, just south of City Hall, in the heart of Downtown Arlington.
Each Friday will feature a new lineup of food trucks, allowing visitors the opportunity to taste and try out different fare. The food truck line-ups will be announced the Wednesday before each event at www.naturallyfun.org/foodtruck.
This week’s tentative list of food trucks includes Connie’s Louisiana Kitchen, What’s Cook-N Chef, Chicago’s Taste & More and Tutta’s Pizza, plus Steel City Pops and Rockin Rooster for dessert.
Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to Food Truck Fridays as seating is limited.
Free parking is available throughout Downtown, including in the public lot west of City Hall, in the 101 Center Parking garage, along Front Street, and in the new reverse-angle parking spaces along Abram, Center and Mesquite streets.
