DREAM BIG WITH US

Dream Big Downtown will take place outdoors from 8:00-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 1 outdoors at the Sanford House. Headlining the program is a conversation about community reinvention post-COVID-19 with a special “Dream Big” panel of local stakeholders. On the verge of a breakthrough moment, our downtown is becoming more walkable, more enjoyable, and more livable. But what's missing? How do we foster sustainable downtown revitalization while harnessing the power of dreaming big and the passion of our community? Moderated by Maggie Campbell, President and CEO of Downtown Arlington Management Corporation, panelists include Michael Jacobson, President and CEO of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Kim Mayer, Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Innovation at UT Arlington; Carolyn Mentesana, Executive Director of the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation; Jerry Shirer, owner of Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard; and Georgie Zang, co-founder of Zang-Adams Real Estate.

In addition to the panel discussion, Downtown Arlington will announce the winners of the Legendary Lionheart Award, Golden Lantern Award, and the highly-anticipated Dream Builder Award, which honors outstanding leadership and contributions to the community.
