Calling All Volunteers: Unite Arlington

Ready to roll up our sleeves for Arlington? Mayor Williams and Engage Arlington are asking for our help!

Volunteer at one of 85 service projects taking place across our city during Unite Arlington weekend, Oct. 3 & Oct. 4 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The city-wide community service event is organized by Engage Arlington, a collaboration of churches seeking to create a community-wide movement of working together for the betterment of our community. During Unite Arlington weekend, volunteers can participate in efforts such as park clean ups, home repairs for seniors, and school beautification.

“We’re living in a time where there is so much division. This is an opportunity for people to come together, meet new people, and unite to help others,” said Art Hooker with Engage Arlington.
