Arlington Eats is Abuzz About The Hive
This month's edition of Arlington Eats, produced by the City of Arlington, features The Hive, one of the newest additions to Downtown Arlington's Urban Union development.
You'll find the new lunch spot next to Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery, and that's no coincidence. Sugar Bee owner Heidi Allison says she had the idea for The Hive after looking at her own lunch routine.
"I just think people kind of missed an additional sandwich place they could go to for lunch," Allison said. "It goes hand-in-hand with the bakery, as far as making our own bread."
Several items on the menu incorporate other ingredients used at Sugar Bee, too. The menu includes a variety of soups and sandwiches including the hatch pimento sandwich and the hot pastrami.
