“Elf” Movie Showing – December 21st
Now announcing: The Downtown Arlington Winter Movie Series! After a successful showing of “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” early this year and back-to-back screenings of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” for Halloween, Downtown Arlington was inspired to showcase monthly movies at the Arlington Music Hall as an homage to the music hall’s history and as an opportunity to keep families entertained during the winter season. Running from December to March for only $5 per movie, these family-friendly classics will keep you and your loved ones laughing, cheering, and reminiscing all winter long.
Our Winter Movie Series will kickstart on December 21st at 7:00 p.m. with everyone’s favorite oversized elf, Buddy, for a showing of the Christmas classic “Elf.” If you’re of the uncultured variety and have never seen the film, Elf follows one of Santa’s elves who, after feeling like an outcast his entire life, decides to venture to New York City to discover who he truly is and spread a little Christmas spirit. The film stars Will Ferrell in the leading role with support by James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Bob Newhart, Mary Steenburgen, and Peter Dinklage. Elf is rated PG, and all ages are welcome to attend.
Tickets will be available starting Monday, December 4th at 8:00 a.m. Future movie titles for this new Winter Movie Series and details will be announced at a later date, so be sure to follow Downtown Arlington on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter and subscribe to our Downtown Arlington newsletter for more information and to stay up to date on the latest holiday programming and more.
