Slow Meadow: Live at the UTA Planetarium

Have you ever wanted to listen to live music under the incredible atmosphere of space? Check out the UTA Planetarium's 2025 Concert Series where we blend art with science.

Join us for an evening of food, drinks, and live music featuring artist Slow Meadow from Houston, Texas. Appetizers are included with the price of admission. There will also be a cash bar available. Reception with food and drinks start at 6pm in the planetarium atrium and the concert starts at 7pm.

Slow Meadow is Houston multi-instrumentalist Matt Kidd. Kidd's releases as Slow Meadow have been celebrated by the New York Observer, NPR's Stephen Thompson, Echoes' John Diliberto, and 6LACK who sampled Lachrymosia for the platinum-selling song Luving U on his debut album, FREE 6LACK. In 2022, Kidd provided the original soundtrack to the Selena Gomez film, "My Mind & Me".
