Ice-T is UTA’s next Maverick Speaker
Join us at the next Maverick Speakers Series event to hear musician, actor, and author Ice-T share his story of resilience and success. From his rough childhood on the streets of Los Angeles to his controversial music career to his iconic stint on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ice-T has become a cultural icon and an influential spokesman for America’s youth, regardless of color. “Overcoming Adversity: From the Streets to Stardom” will take place Wednesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Texas Hall. Tickets are free for UTA students, faculty, and staff and $5 for community members and alumni.
