Storytime is a thoughtful way to encourage children’s love of books. Storytime is even better when the whole family can get involved! The Arlington Public Library hosts weekly family storytimes different library locations, including the Downtown Library. These events are not only fun for children but also informative and engaging for parents and caregivers. These programs offer an excellent opportunity to spend time together and to foster a love of reading in your child.


Family Storytime takes place at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on Wednesdays from 11 – 11:30 a.m. and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. – noon.
 

Additional locations include:

Lake Arlington Branch, Mondays, 10:30 – 11 a.m.

Northeast Branch, Mondays, 2:15 – 2:45 p.m.

Woodland West Branch, Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11 a.m.

East Library and Recreation Center, Thursdays, 10:30 – 11 a.m. This Storytime is in Spanish.

Southeast Branch, Fridays, 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.
