Color Abstractions debuts with an opening reception on Saturday, September 18 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibit will run through November 21st. Hours are weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
Color Abstraction presents 97 works of art from 62 Texas artists. The art includes paintings, sculpture, mixed media, mobiles, and glass. The theme itself is a broad invitation to explore interesting or unexpected uses of color within art, in whatever form that may take. It may be a particular color motif or a significant pop of color that appears in the work.
