Arlington Independence Day Parade
Celebrate Independence Day with Arlington's longest-running and largest 4th of July parade in Texas! The Arlington Independence Day Parade is a cherished community tradition, marking its 60th anniversary in 2025 with the theme "Shining Bright Since 1965, Diamond Jubilee."
This spectacular event features over 120 entries, including marching bands from all six Arlington ISD high schools, vibrant floats, antique cars, Scouts, cheerleaders, dance teams, and walking units. This year, we're honored to have American hero Chris Cassidy, President and CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum, as our Grand Marshal.
Kick off your morning with the Firecracker 5K, starting at 7:00 AM from the Levitt Pavilion and following the parade route. Then, find your perfect spot along the route to enjoy the main parade as it winds through Downtown Arlington, bringing together thousands of spectators for a festive patriotic celebration. Don't forget to look for Sparky, the parade's official mascot!
It's a family-friendly event filled with community spirit, perfect for celebrating our nation's independence.
