CATS SummerStars Camp presents Legally Blonde The Musical

Elle, Bruiser and friends will make their CATS debut for a two show limited engagement, on Saturday July 27 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm at Arlington High School.  Featuring the 33 teens participating in CATS’ lauded SummerStars Camp, this hysterical and sweet musical has all the charm of the original movie, and then injects it with non-stop, thrilling musical numbers.  The show is free to the public, and is recommended for audiences 13 and up.

Based on the hit movie, LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL is a fresh and effervescent concoction of musical fun, stylishly wrapped up in a smart pink bow!  Elle Woods is the college sweetheart and homecoming queen who doesn't take “no” for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone “serious,” Elle puts down the credit cards, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. This high-energy pop musical's fun and catchy score features music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and a hysterical book by Heather Hach.

Directed by Kristi Abene and Kim Worthen, with Musical Direction by Jason Walker and Choreography by Heather Simmons, this show is the culmination of the SummerStars experience.  Thirty-three teen performers have dedicated two weeks replicating a summer stock experience, and would be thrilled to see you in the audience!

LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL will play one day only, Saturday July 27 at 2:30pm & 7:30pm. The show is free to the public, and your tax-deductible donation will be warmly welcomed.  This show is recommended for audiences 13 and up, due to mild language and adult themes. Creative Arts Theatre & School is presenting the show at Arlington High School, located at 818 W Park Row, Arlington, TX 76013.
