Spring Break Just Got a Whole Lot Cooler

Hey kids! Are you looking for great ways to spend your Spring Break? Look no further than Downtown Arlington:

SPRING BREAK CAMP
THEATRE ARLINGTON

Ready to put your acting chops on stage? Theatre Arlington's Spring Break Camp is a comprehensive theater workshop for kids ages 6-13. Campers will participate in a production rehearsal and performance of Dear Edwina for friends and family on the final day of camp. 

Monday, March 9 - Friday, March 13 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Create Studio: For Families

Ready. Set. CREATE! Bring the whole family to create with a room of recycled materials and supplies. Great for kids up to 12 years old.

Saturday, March 7, 1-5 p.m. 
Monday, March 9, 3-5 p.m.
Tuesday, March 10, 2-3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 11, 2-3:30 p.m. 
Friday, March 13, 4-5:30 p.m.

Discover Day

For kids ages 5-12, all they'll need for this special day is their curiosity, imagination and hunger to explore. This day is full of STEAM-based activities for the whole family. 

Monday, March 9, 3-5 p.m.

Sewing Camp

Learn how to use sewing machines and make a project. Sewing Camp is for kids ages 9-18. On March 10, please come to our Maker Space up to 30 minutes early to reserve your spot for all three days. First come, first served.

Tuesday, March 10 - Thursday, March 12, 2-3:30 p.m.

STAR SHOWS
UTA PLANETARIUM

The Planetarium at the University of Texas at Arlington is extending its hours during Spring Break so you can spend more time under the stars. Visit the website for showtimes.

DAY CAMP
SALVATION ARMY YET CENTER 

Located in Downtown Arlington, the Salvation Army's Youth Education Town is offering a day camp for kids. First time YET participants are welcome! To register, call 817-860-1836.

Monday, March 9 - Friday, March 13 from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

YOUTH ART MONTH EXHIBITION
ARLINGTON MUSEUM OF ART

Each Spring, the AMA works collaboratively with the Arlington Independent School District to give students the opportunity to exhibit their original work in a wide variety of mediums. Six weeks are dedicated to this exhibition. AMA Youth Art Month is held in conjunction with National Youth Art Month.

Opening date: Wednesday, March 4
